Join us for an inspiring and vibrant workshop at the beautiful Coolings Garden Centre. This session will guide you through the magical process of creating an Aurora Borealis-inspired painting using alcohol inks.
 
Alcohol inks are renowned for their bold, radiant colours and flowing movement, making them the perfect medium to craft a dramatic northern lights skyline. We’ll start with practice pieces to help you master blending techniques and experiment with different tree shapes for your final silhouette scene. Once confident, you'll create a stunning, atmospheric painting on a pre-primed 30cm x 30cm canvas board.
To ensure everyone's comfort, please note that alcohol inks can release light fumes that may affect those sensitive to odours. Masks will be available for anyone who would like to use them, and we’ll wear gloves throughout the session. To support good air circulation, windows will also be open. Rest assured, the inks are safe and enjoyable to work with.
 
All materials are included, all you need to bring is an apron and a sense of wonder!  Refreshments are not included but you are more than welcome to pop into Arthurs restaurant and grab a coffee or tea on your way.
 
This class is ideal for beginners and those curious to explore a new art medium. Come along, learn, create, and take home your very own northern lights masterpiece!
